Tools for the one-person desk.

The actual files and skills behind the One Person Trade Desk — the methodology, written down, not signals. Free. Subscribe and they land in your inbox as I ship them across the series.

Chartbook

OPTD.Cht + ORB study

The chart I work on, as a Sierra Chart chartbook — ES and NQ, the opening-range study, a footprint and a DOM. Ships with the ORB signal study in C++ and a deploy script that drops both into place.

This is the chart every video in the series is filmed on. Free, ungated, no email needed — DEPLOY.md on the same page walks the install. The order manager that turns the signal into a trade is the paid half.

optd-starter

The skeleton of the desk — the OPTD folder structure, a working ORB indicator in Pine Script, and the Python side: honest-vs-naive fills and a teaching Sierra Chart .scid tick reader you can run offline in seconds.

Deliberately just the skeleton: no permutation sweeps, no scaling or pyramiding, none of the validation that turns a raw setup into a stress-tested system. That work lives inside the OPTD community.

Claude skill

Backtest bias reviewer

A Claude skill that audits a backtest for the biases that make a sim look better than it is — lookahead, survivorship, overfitting, and the rest. Run it before you trust a single equity curve.

One list. Every tool, as it ships.

Drop your email — I’ll send the resources straight to your inbox. After that, one short brief a week: what’s working on the desk, what isn’t, and how to apply it to yours. The list also gets first call when the OPTD community opens.
